Lucy Meredith
Since graduating with a degree in drama from Bretton Hall in 1998, Lucy has worked with many theatre companies in the West-Yorkshire region and performed at venues such as York’s Theatre Royal and the West Yorkshire Playhouse. Currently, she plays the character of Gil in the sci-fi television series The Chronicles of Syntax, a production written and directed by Susan E Clarke and produced by iDare productions. She also regularly writes and performs for arts events such Development Lab, Light Night and Emerge festival.
In addition to her solo projects, she is the manager of the On the Edge festival; spearheading the new inclusive arts festival and community projects in Leeds. Lucy is an active contributor and founder member of West Yorkshire Theatre Network. She is Publicity Manager for Urban Sprawl, Yorkshire’s only homeless theatre company, where she regularly acts, directs, runs workshops. Since Urban Sprawl has been officially based in Temple Works, a cultural venue in Holbeck, Leeds, Lucy has taken an active and extensive role in developing a stewarding program within Temple Works.
